Candy jewerly & Soy Joy.....

Ok, have you seen the commercials on TV about the Retimade sisters.....one makes jewelry and one teaches cooking???? Well, I love those necklaces and decided to look them up online today. ( I love the internet) Here is the site....it looks pretty cool.

Now, while we are on commercials, have you seen the Soy Joy commercial where the girl is walking through the park and starts to jump rope?Well, my little duckling Ollie thinks that this is just the funnest thing EVER! He stops whatever he is doing to just to watch this. I have even went to their website ( where you can watch the commercials ) and let him watch this thing a few times in a row.......FUNNY!!!!

Lastly, My oldest duckling Van is sick today. He missed his field trip to the apple farm and is bummed out about it. :( He told me a little while ago, "at least I didn't miss any paper work Mommy" ......meaning any papers they might have done if they were in class. I used to hate missing school too! I hope he is well enough to go to school tomorrow.

Sunday......

Sunday evening we went on a walk. We stopped at a playground near our home. Here are a couple of pictures from the playground and our walk.

Here is the troop walking. Ollie was walking with me, holding my hand so I made him stop so I could get a picture of him too. :)

Here is Tatum in our back yard before our walk. She finally figured out hot to drive the John Deere and she was just driving all over the yard! I had to pull her off of there.

Mum Festival Parade

Saturday morning the kids and I met Grandpa Ron and walked to the Tipp City Mum Festival Parade. I took lots of pictures of the parade......here are just a few. Everyone had a good time except for Ollie who wanted to go home the ENTIRE time.

Friday Updates.....

Here are some prints from Pioneer Woman that I downloaded from her download for free page.
I printed, framed and hung them my self.....What do you think? They are hanging in our entryway.

Here is another one of Pioneer Woman's photographs that I framed and have sitting on my counter top in my kitchen. I thought it would look better in a more rustic frame. I love the blue in the picture.

Here is a picture of the cake I made yesterday. Van got very excited when I put the pumpkins on top of the cake. He said that "it looks like a fall field Mommy!" .....

Swiper no swiping,
Swiper no swiping,
Swiper no swiping.

...........this is what I heard as I was baking my cake Thursday night. I peaked around the corner and saw Ollie looking at a Dora book.

We have walked to school four days now and Petey asked me today if we could walk everyday. I told him as long as it is not raining or snowing!

Who's that eating a cookie.....

in my bed, in my bed
Who's that eating a cookie ...........in my bed.....
It's Oliver O'Neil!

Apple sauced!

I got this apple sauce recipe from Wendy. (you are right Wendy...it's the best I have had too!) I copy and pasted your recipe here.

Crock pot Applesauce (borrowed from a fellow blogger)

10 apples peeled and sliced
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 cup of water

Place all ingredients in the crock pot. Cook on low 8-10 hours, or on high 3-4 hours. Drain, I used our colander, put in bowl and mash. Place into containers refrigerate or freeze.

We eat a lot of apple sauce here....three of my four ducklings love the stuff! .....Ollie being the one that doesn't.

Believe it or not......Van also made apple sauce at school yesterday. We had to peel and slice an apple for him to take and he had to wear his apple shirt that he made at school. This Tuesday his class is going on a field trip to an apple farm.

Ist day of our walk.......

This summer, while Josh was home, I got used to walking 2 1/2 miles a day. Since he has been back to school I haven't walked on any regular schedule......and it had been over two weeks since I had walked at all. Well, I decided that I would start walking Petey to school so I could still get my walk in. (the school was actually on my walk route already.) I pulled Ollie & Tatum in the wagon. Well my Dad showed up today and decided to walk with us and he helped me pull the kids....thank goodness. I think it may take me a few days to be able to pull them the whole way!

Clean up.

Well, the city came and picked up all of our tree branches today. Ollie and Tatum were so excited. Tatum kept saying John Deere........yes they did have a John Deere too. It was very exciting for the small ones! :)

a simple thank you.....

While Josh was at his football game on Friday, My mother-in -law and father-in-law came to visit. They took the kids and I out to eat and took us to Wal Mart. Van and Petey ended up getting their Halloween costumes.......a red power ranger and a blue power ranger. ( I think Tatum & Ollie are going as Dora & Diego!) Then on Saturday, My mother-in-law helped me do our huge heaping pile of laundry that is never ending! That was very much appreciated......Thank You :)

Thanks Mark & Goob for coming to Josh's game and hanging out!
