getting real

Let's get real for a minute, I HATE pictures of myself.

It's true. 

I never like the way I look.

In my mind and in the mirror I think I look one way, then I see myself in a picture and I look another.

I hate it. I am just one of those people that do not look good in pictures. 

It is not just weight either ,( I typically think that I look like I did before I had my first child.)

Haha

It is also my hair or makeup, or a combination of the two.

I style my hair in the mirror and I love it. Then I see a picture of it and it doesn't look like the same hair.

I probably took at least five if not ten pictures just to get a picture I like.

Am I crazy? yes probably.

I didn't even want to post the pictures of me in my last post, but I did.

Tatum the princess

On Memorial Day, Grandpa Ron took some pictures of Tatum.

She dressed herself in her dress, necklace and watch.

She asked me to put her hair in pigtails and she picked the bands and berets.

These pictures my Dad took. We were trying to get a three year picture of Tatum. She wasn't really cooperating that day.

Before we walked to the park.....I took these pictures all covered up on the couch. She was cold in the air conditioner, so I covered her up.

I put Tatum's Ohio State cheerleading outfit on last week & Grandpa Ron tried to take some pictures but, she wasn't cooperating. I think this is the best picture we got. :)

I Love Picnik !!!

I use Picnik to edit my photo's most of the time, Even though I have about four picture editing programs on my computer. I just LOVE it! Here is an example why. I took this picture Sunday. First of all, I love this picture of my boys. After editing it many different ways, I now cannot decide which picture is my favorite.

Random updates.... & cute pics

Cute ice cream pics from last week. Tatum & Ollie snuck them in while Van and Petey were at school!

Of course Tatum has to have a pink cone with sprinkles!

One family member or the other (except Van) has been sick the last week and a half, that's why it has taken me so long to post everything.

These cookies are from our local grocery store bakery and I have to share.....they are like crack to me! I LOVE THESE COOKIES!

I saw the movie Twilight for the first time last week. I may or may not have shared a lot of the same thoughts as Ginny from Beautiful Mess. So check her out because she's pretty funny! :)

an icy morning.....

I took these pictures yesterday morning after dropping Van off at school. The light shining off the ice covered trees was so beautiful the pictures don't even show.
