too busy

I am not sure how many of you read my book and movie blogs, but I have to stop them for now. With school, I am just way to busy to keep up with them. Both of them were just too far behind to even catch them up. I started them more for myself, to keep track of what I watched and read. Right now, I am pretty much reading books for school. However on my break, I did manage to read The White Queen by Philippa Gregory. She is absolutely one of my favorite writers and I cannot wait to read the Red Queen too! So I'll just update my books and movies on here for now.

A Day of Silence for "Bumpkin on a Swing"

Lisa from Bumpkin on a swing passed away Sunday from ovarian cancer.

A little break...

I didn't tend to take a bloggy break, but that is just what I did. 

It was much needed I think.

I wasn't finding much inspiration or focus lately.

Time to regroup and start fresh.

I have lots to share with my children, so look for updates soon. :)

I am also still working on my 101 in 1001.....

Simplicity NEEDED!

Last night I spent a good 2 1/2 hours changing my blog.
I changed my background ( no, not the one you see here)
I made button, tags, separators, signature....ect....
Then I looked at it.........
it looked just way too BUSY!!!!!!
and I deleted it all.
I found this background and scaled it down, a lot.
I like this a lot better.
Tonight, I changed my book and movie blog too.
Less is more.
At least for right now.
