Summer Vacation

The kids are finally on summer vacation.

I never thought that it would get here.

I will have a big fifth grader, a fourth grader, a second grader and a kindergartener next year.

Everyone but Van will be in a different school.

Since Petey was moving out of his elementary school and into an intermediate school ( grades 4 and 5)

their school has a tradition of clapping out the third graders on their last day.

Basically the parents  line the halls and clap as they play music and the third graders dance their way out of the school, or in the gym where everyone meets.

Field Day

In a few hours school will be out for the summer.

Wednesday and Thursday the boys had field day.

Ollie's play

We went to Ollie's end of the year play this morning.

Ollie was in the play Are You My Mother and he played a boat.

Petey's sculpture

Yesterday Petey came home with this sculpture that he made in art class.

It is a football player throwing the ball.

So cute.

Petey loves it and I do too.

Tatum's graduation

Tatum graduated from pre- school last night.

They wore caps and gowns and the whole works.

not sure how I feel about the whole caps and gowns especially when the principal introduced the class of 2025!

Where has the time gone?

 Tatum is sad that school is over for the year.

Last week was the Art Show at Petey's school.

 Well, its sorta Art show/ ice cream social.

Anyway, Petey and I headed over to his school to check out the art and eat some ice cream.

off to Kindergarten

My princess was off to Kindergarten screening today.

I thought that I would be just fine with my littlest one off to school ( she has been in pre school for two years) but, this morning it hit me. My little girl will be officially in school.
All of my little ducklings will be in school next year.

Petey was just in a Spring play at his school. Across the U.S.A.

Each class had a different state. 

Petey's class had Tennessee and the song they sang was Rocky Top.

Petey did a great job, I am so proud of him.

well, all my munchkins are back in school

The school year is off to a good start.

four kids+ three schools = a very busy drop off morning and pick up afternoon!

a little sad, her best friend is going to a different school this year ... but she makes friends real easily and she will be fine.

All of my kiddos are offically out of school.

Friday was their last day.

That is ok, I have learned that it is alright.

It's real life!

All three boys had a good last day.

Van had a clap out. That means that all the parents showed up and lined up along the walls. As the third graders walk by the parents clap.

This is because they will be attending a new school next year for 4th, 5th and 6th graders.

He and his friends were excited and a little sad they last day.

They will no longer be at that school.

I can't believe how big all my kiddos are getting, but I am ready to have a great summer with them!

catching up!

I have not been blogging on any kind of regular basis this year!

There has been lots of things happening since the start of this year.

A couple of things to catch up on ....

Tatum had her Parents day program at school .... 

she was a pig and it was so cute. she is the one in the middle there with purple on.

On her second to last day of school, the preschool took a pretend "trip" to Greece. They had an airport, plane and hotel set up inside the school and a pool set up outside for the beach. Yep she got to go swimming!

Tatum had a great time.

they even made a passport for everyone that now has a stamp in it!

(there was less then a week between the last two pictures ... our weather has been crazy!)

Well Tatum is now down with school for the year, she finished three weeks earlier then her brothers... much to their disappointment!

The preschool had an end of the year picnic for all students and their families.

Ollie got his first cast off at five weeks and got a new one put on. He has to wear that for two more weeks, which means Ollie only has a little over three more days in a cast!

The boys have less then two whole weeks left of school!!!!

I couldn't be happier to have summer vacation start!

Van got a new computer game for his computer and ALL three of my boys have become quite obsessed with this game!

I was in a Greek play, Bacchae for my class last weekend. I played Agaue.

It was outdoors and we were rained on a little.

I am shy and not very good at getting up in front of people, but I think I did alright, at least that is what everyone told me, haha.

I know that there was some pictures taken, If I get a hold of any, I will share.

Josh's birthday was last weekend!

I won't tell you how old he is because he is younger then me, by two years...

We spent the weekend at here at home.

I also had a GREAT Mother's Day!

I got breakfast in bed.

Van wrote me poem. Van and Tatum sang to me.

I got lots of hugs and kisses!

Van is a crossing guard this week.

He is enjoying it and taking it serious.

He is a big third grader now, only third graders get to do it at his school.

( sorry picture is bad, its from my phone and Van doesn't want me to take anymore....mom can be embarrassing sometimes with her camera!)
