The beds are finished.

Yep! The bed is John Deere colors. Van sleeps on the bottom.

Petey and Ollie sleep on the top.

We have been reading our books at night sitting at the table.

Looking in through the door.

Making a Bed......

Josh's parents (Nanny & Papaw) came to visit last weekend and Josh and Papaw built the boys' bunk beds ( 3 beds in all) with a desk.

They had to kinda build the beds in the room because the bed was so big.

Josh working on the beds.

Taking a break before we started painting. Nanny & I painted the beds......what else......Yellow and Green!

French Eclectic

Well, since I had never heard of it and Tamara hadn't heard of it either.......I thought I would let you know know what this site says French Eclectic is.........

Parlez-vous français? Even if the answer is no, you can confidently say your home does! French Eclectic somehow manages to be both formal and casual, classy and unassuming at the same time. You like your spaces to feel inviting from the moment you (or your guest) opens the front door and this feeling should continue even after you've entered your most formal room.

Even though there are French antiques here and gold details there, the rustic country elements provide a balance and warmth that seems to say, "come in, relax and stay a while." Your love of antiques leads you to flea markets, garage sales and hours of eBay hunting.

What's your style?

I saw this quiz on Stephanie's blog and decided to take the quiz myself.....
Here is my results........

67% French Eclectic

17% Classic

16% Nantucket Style

WOW, The French Eclectic surprised me and it was the majority. I had no idea I liked French Eclectic. The last two were not a surprise......only I would have thought that they would be a bigger percentage.

What you've missed......

Well, since I have had my nose in the Twilight books ( I read all four in 11 days), I just wanted to catch everyone up on what has been going on.

and I have missed lots as well, there is so many posts on everyones' blogs to catch up on!

First of all, Petey and I made PW's Spreads and they are soo good!

Spreads

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup margarine
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 to 8 ounces chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix together brown sugar and margarine. Add egg and mix together. Add flour, salt, and vanilla, and mix together well.
Spread dough onto cookie sheet to a thickness of 1/4 to 1/2-inch.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until slightly brown.
Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the top. Return to oven for 1 minute.
Remove and spread melted chips over the top.
Cut into squares.

When my family woke up on Valentines day.....everyone got a card and a mug with heart shaped chocolates in them from me.

My husband got me a card that you don't throw away and bought me these two signs. The first speaks for its self, the second he says is because he says I never want to go to our hometown, of course, I do though. I Love these signs. I Love you too honey.

How does the sign look grouped here? I think I really like it with the clock.

Lastly, I wanted to show you a picture of my husbands new Big little toy. Yep, it's the TV in the middle!

What kind of cupcake are you?

Your Cupcake Says You Are Lovable

At parties, you tend to be laid back and even a bit shy. You are an observer.

You have absolutely no restraint in your life. You live life with reckless abandon.

The most important thing in your life is love.

You are laid back, flexible, and easy to get along with. To know you is to care for you.

cookies, pants & 14 days of love

Saturday, we made sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies with pink chips. :)

I also ordered 2 pairs of pants from Newport News. I ordered black and stone.

Also, Summer from Summertime Designs has shared with everyone a long time Valentine day family tradition that is very sweet. Check her out.

The dog & the door!

The other day, when we returned home, we found our dog ate the utility door.

towels too!

We also got some new towels from Sam's Club for our master bathroom too. These colors look really bright, but the color is actually muted. You can see the colors that I am drawn too. Anything that reminds me of water or that reminds me nature.

New Bedding!

We got new bedding from Sam's Club yesterday. I LOVE it. The colors are so calming and pretty. It looks as good as this picture on our bed too. :) Remember when I asked if anyone liked Damask? I love it and there is a light damask print on the bedding.
