Last night was open house at Tatum's school. She took us on a tour of her class room and showed us her artwork on display.

too busy

I am not sure how many of you read my book and movie blogs, but I have to stop them for now. With school, I am just way to busy to keep up with them. Both of them were just too far behind to even catch them up. I started them more for myself, to keep track of what I watched and read. Right now, I am pretty much reading books for school. However on my break, I did manage to read The White Queen by Philippa Gregory. She is absolutely one of my favorite writers and I cannot wait to read the Red Queen too! So I'll just update my books and movies on here for now.

Fulton Farms

Yesterday the kids didn't have school { teacher in service day} so , to get my kids out of the house....we headed to Fulton Farms.

I got the new Oprah Magazine in the mail today, as I was flipping through it, I found this gorgeous photo shoot with Mandy Moore.

I happen to love Mandy Moore and her style, and was completely inspired by the beautiful colors and patterns.

Lego League

Van and Petey have joined a Jr. Lego League team.

They are very excited and they are having lots of fun!

The first night they started talking about simple machines.The first one they learned about was a ramp and they had to make a teeter totters out of Lego's of course.

Second time they met, they learned about pulleys and had to make pulleys.

Then they learned that a zip cord was a pulley and they got to try one out!

yep, they rode on one of those wagons!

The boys LOVED it. Van sat up front with the driver. All three boys loved feeding the animals. Ollie made a buddy with a baby camel. 

Tatum did not like the big animals, but she liked the small ones and she really liked the parrot, she stills talks about it.

He had fun and enjoyed the wagon ride!

Tatum also went on a field trip Friday.

She headed to the Tipp City Park to look for signs of Fall. 

She came home with a big bag filled with leaves and acorns!!

Last Saturday we were in Coshocton to attend Josh's sister's wedding reception.

They were married in Indiana, where they live.
