Salt Scrub

The other day I saw a post from Wattle Bird on how to make your own salt scrub .

So I did a little searching on line and found a few ways of making your own salt scrub, here, here,  here, and here. I also looked into buying my own and the cheapest I found was $30. So I deiced to try and make my own too.

Here is what I decided to use:

Even though there was many opinions about what salt to use, I used regular salt. I also used plain old peanut oil. To give it a scent, I used Vanilla extract. 

I used the measurements on the side of the jar. I filled the jar up 3/4 with salt then added the oil and mixed it up. Then I  added a little vanilla. 

I have already used it. It looks and feels great.
