Last week, Van had to do a report and get up in front of the class and talk about someone.
Van chose Sacagawea.
He had to choose three things about her family, then why she was important in History.
Then he made a diorama for a scene from the book he read and had to explain what was happening.
The pictures he glued on top of the box are of statues of Sacagawea.
Inside is the scene where she found her brother again.
I am not really sure why he chose her, I have my thoughts it's because of Night at the Museum.
but he was really excited to do this project.
I enjoyed helping him out.
Tatum was also at the table making her own project.
She made a dog with a pink sparkly valentine heart.
Then, at the last minute, Van's teacher decided that the kids should make bags or boxes to put their Valentines in, they were going to make bags in class.
So we had to make a run to Wal Mart and get some hearts and paper.
Here is Van's box.
The transformers is from wrapping paper I had, which matched the cards he handed out that was also Transformers.
The box also had his three favorite colors....blue, black and brown.
Petey passed out super hero cards, Ollie Spongebob cards & Tatum got some Tinker bell cards to make out.
I really do think the boys brought home more candy from their Valentines party then from their Halloween parties!
